Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director of the recently founded theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. In her role as Artistic Director at SSC she was also the costume designer and set designer for the production as well as music director, composer and coach for text. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble in the final year of her tenure, she started her journey as a director (and lighting designer) as part of the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's had roles on a multitude of game shows. She and her sisters were raised by her scientist father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She went to Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with whom her two kids. Post an amazing actor, and also a perfect mother and wife she is an inspiration to many Hollywood stars.
